Fitzroy OKeaf Samuels stage name :Bawn Agen {Born Again }

 was born and raised in the Tropical Island of Jamaica

 

WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WANTED TO DO MUSIC ?

from an early age recognized I was gifted with the spoken word and over the priod of my  teenage years harness that Gift and used it in the form of music.

 

WHAT GENERE OF MUSIC DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN ?

Dance Hall is native to Jamaicans but i was also heavily influenced by The Hip Hop Culture introduced to me by friends at my School BridgePort High in Portmore

St Catherine after dropping out school i went striaght  to the studio and street shows determined to repay my mom and all who lost hope in me because of my failed attempt to get an Education  ,but it was a wild life having  Gangsters as friends and the streets as my home .

 

WHY DID YOU DICIDE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE ?

In the year  2010 my life was changed by divine intervention ..

My relentless persute to make it to the Big leags took an unexpected twist as  i was a writer and recording Artiste well known to the street corners of my Community found myself in incarseration and in the desperation for freedom  i committed my life to God .

After getting out of Jail God made sure i was placed in a church by no choice of my own as my close friend Marvin Coleman who was putting me up at the time ,Had given his life to the Lord ,I had no place to stay so he  invited me to Church on a regular basis  ,I had no other choice but to live up to THE PROMISE I had made with God and so i Got BAPTIZED  stop smoking drinking and writing the music i was acustomed to .

 

WHATS NEXT FOR BAWN AGEN ?

Now years has passed and I am ready to go again now with new Goals of A kingdom in view and souls who are in the same possition as i was i am now Born again and ready to go forth and fullfil the great comission 

 

WHY THE NAME BAWN AGEN?

Knowing my friends and what they expected of me i had to use a name that suggested i was done with the street life and im now a NEW CREATION  hence Bawn Agen was birthed and THE Album SELF TITLED BAWN AGEN  was recorded with the purpose to carry my  story in a more upclose and detailed wayto the listener

Using the same tool wich is Hip Hop Music he call'S  A.RK MUSIC
